About Apes Trucking and Construction. A Family Company.
From trucking to full-scale construction; Apes Trucking and Construction is a story of doing it the hard way, the right way.

How We Got Here
Apes Trucking and Construction started in trucking. What began as hauling grew into concrete work, and eventually into a full construction company offering concrete, excavation, demolition, drainage, landscaping, and specialty turf installation across the Denver area.
We're a family-owned business, and that's not just a tagline. Owner Aldo Matos grew up watching his parents immigrants who came to the U.S. chasing the American dream build one business after another from scratch. A restaurant. A cleaning company that grew into a commercial operation. Eventually, three separate businesses in construction, all self-employed since the 1990s.
That drive is where Apes comes from. Since 2019, we've built the company on the same principle that built everything before it: show up, do the work right, and treat the customer relationship as the whole business not a footnote to it.
Today, that means a crew that preps subgrade properly, reinforced concrete the right way, and keeps clients updated every single day a job is running.
What We Stand For:
Customer Experience First
Every decision from bid to final walkthrough is made with the customer relationship in mind, not just the project.
Constant Communication
Customers hear from their foreman and salesperson at the start and end of every workday, no exceptions.
Do It Right,
Not Fast
Proper subgrade prep and double-reinforced concrete take more time and we take it, every time.
Built From the Ground Up
Literally and figuratively we started with nothing but a truck and built a full construction company one job at a time.

Apes Trucking and Construction is led hands-on by its founder.
Aldo founded Apes Trucking and Construction in 2019, growing it from a trucking operation into a full-service Denver construction company. Raised by self-employed immigrant parents who built multiple businesses from the ground up, Aldo brings that same drive to every job with a long-term goal of building a team stable enough to let him show up for his own son's school activities, not just his clients' job sites.
